JournalRight terms of use
JournalRight is operated by SVELA AI SOFTWARE LABS PRIVATE LIMITED. These product terms supplement the RefRight Terms of Service for JournalRight. The existing account, acceptable-use, intellectual-property, liability, termination, and governing-law provisions apply. For JournalRight's scan behaviour and product scope, the terms below apply.
1. Product and permitted use
JournalRight is a Word add-in providing local manuscript inventories, completeness checks, citation reconciliation, object/callout counts, and journal-profile checks. Use it only with documents you are authorised to access. You retain ownership of your manuscript. Scans do not edit or upload manuscript content to Svela; a separate email-verified JournalRight account and sign-in are required before scanning.
2. Review responsibilities and limitations
Findings are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Counts depend on document structure and Word capabilities. “Not read”, ambiguous matches, and manual-review results need human confirmation. Journal profiles may be development previews. Always check the target journal's current author instructions and separate submission requirements.
JournalRight does not provide scientific peer review, editorial approval, or a guarantee of journal acceptance. It is independent of the publishers named in profiles, which do not constitute endorsements.
3. Accounts and privacy
JournalRight uses its own account service. A RefRight account does not provide JournalRight access. Protect your credentials and verification codes. JournalRight's privacy policy explains local scanning, account processing, providers, and privacy requests. RefRight reference formatting and enrichment are separate services and may process submitted reference content.
4. Availability and changes
Capabilities vary by Word host and version. Features, profiles, and the add-in may change as development continues. A preview is not a claim of Microsoft Marketplace publication or certification. Any future paid offering must identify its price and terms before purchase.
